Following his graduation with a BSBA from the College of Finance at Villanova University, Tim began his career in the construction industry and spent ten years working as a Licensed General Contractor. Leaning on his experience in construction, and his desire for residential design, Tim pursued his passion for Architecture by earning his Masters of Architecture from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte. Tim joined Peter Zimmerman Architects, Inc. in 2006 upon his return to the Philadelphia’s Main Line. A strong background in design, technical expertise and project management has allowed Tim to work on a variety of project sizes and styles, including an addition & renovation of an Arts and Crafts style house which received an ICAA Philadelphia Trumbauer Award for a sympathetic addition.
Tim was named a Principal of the firm in 2018. He is a licensed Architect, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration, a national member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and LEED AP certified (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional). Tim serves on the Haverford Township Historical Commission.
Tim is an avid motorcycle, tennis and golf enthusiast who also enjoys playing guitar with his son Nick.
