This mountain modern house was built on a hillside overlooking Ketchum, Idaho. The house, with its spectacular views, appears, from the street approach, to be understated and quietly integrated into the natural environment. The horizontal lines downplay the experience until you enter. Upon entry, the views begin to reveal themselves and all one can see are the magnificent vistas of Baldy Mountain, Dollar Mountain, and the Smokey Mountain range. The house is open, airy, and filled with natural light.
The house was designed for a very active family of five. The primary living spaces open into each other and there are retractable glass walls which allow for seamless living, inside and out. From every living space and bedroom, views abound. This house is as exquisite in the summer as it is in the winter.
