Architect Horace Trumbauer designed this plaster two-and one-half story home in 1912. An addition was added in 1926 and there has been little work done to it since then. We were asked to provide a design for an addition and renovation of the existing house that would allow for updated conveniences and a modern lifestyle while still being sympathetic to the original Trumbauer design. A new master site plan was developed to take full advantage of the site and to create privacy. The original 2 car garage is to be converted into a club house style entertaining space with views onto the adjacent golf course. An attached garage and family entry wing were added which create a more formal front courtyard which provides additional privacy.
