The exterior of this house was a non- descript brown with a non- descript stone that was not indigenous to the region. There was a mixture of stylistic elements that has no continuity and there wasn’t an architectural sense of a front entrance. We modified windows, doors and architectural details on the exterior and painted the entire house white to create a sense of unity.
We renovated the interior to create a more open living space – allowing for natural light and visual transparency to the exterior. We wanted to create a more contemporary environment for a young, active family.
